Excited!! (Can't take the smile off my face!)

So I got the best news this week!  My friend Jackie is also pregnant!  That's three friends that are due within about a month of our baby!  This news would only be better if she lived closer to me than Chicago.  But that's okay, I'll have to find a time to meet up with her and share our baby bump/belly stories in a few months!

I'm in my 13th week now and things are going great!  I officially I am just starting to show (barely). I still have plenty of room in my jeans, and hopefully I will be able to wear my own jeans most of the time (with the help of my BeBand belly band that I got as a birthday gift from James' sister's family.  So thank you Sarah!

Finally it hit me that maybe I should start putting some thought/research into being a parent.  Daycare, nursery plans, researching baby stuff, breastfeeding....oh, but the name search is on hold until we know if it is a boy or girl.  It is hard enough deciding on one name, much less a boy AND a girl name!  So yes, we WILL be finding out the sex of our baby.  Our next ultrasound appointment is on March 2nd, so hopefully they can tell us then!!

This weekend James is making plans to take me out to a special dinner to celebrate the end of our 1st trimester...a moment I have been waiting for!
