Snoring? Me? Really?

Haha...I don't know why this is bothering me so much. I have always disliked others' snoring problems (well doesn't everybody?) I am such a light sleeper to begin with that snoring has always bothered me. So in a conversation with a friend yesterday, she asked me if I have been snoring with my pregnancy. I immediately say NO! And then James proceeds to tell me that I have been snoring A LOT...for months! What a sweetheart to never once complain about it to me! But it still bothers me that I NOW SNORE! I feel bad if I am interrupting my husband's sleep (which he says I'm not), but I appreciate that he doesn't wake me to shut me up!

Anyway, so there is just one more pregnancy symptom that I have and didn't even know it. Hopefully it will go away once I have the baby and lose this extra water retention!

Later!

50 percent effaced, 2 cm dilated!

Yay! I realize that dilation doesn't really mean anything at this point, but to me it is progress! We still have 11 more days until our due date and I'm hoping not to go past that date by much! The head is still down and I'm convinced that she'll stay in that position! Even with all of her wiggling around during the day (and at night), she has been consistently kicking me in my right side for the past two months. My doctor also said that the baby is "smaller" in size. This was nice to hear and I hope she is right since I'm hoping for an easy delivery! But isn't that what everyone hopes for!

My next appointment is on Tuesday, 7/13. Hopefully more news will come then!

Progress...maybe...

Well hey, I have one centimeter dilation! And baby is head down! I could not have asked for a better appointment. Everything looks great and I'm still feeling pretty good, just still slightly struggling with the pelvic pain. Some days are worse than others, but overall I can't complain. Weight gain to date is at 25 pounds...I've been told many times that I am "all baby", which is nice to hear, even if I don't feel that way :)

Me... 9 months pregnant...

We had our hospital tour on Monday as well. This really made the labor day seem so REAL. Obviously I know the day is just around the corner, but to be in the rooms and picturing what our time will be like there made reality set in, almost making me more nervous rather than easing any anxiety!

My next appointment is on Thursday next week. I'll get in touch with you again then!

Happy Independence Day and have a SAFE weekend!
