Sorry I haven't been posting much on here recently.
So what's new since my last post? Well as you can see in my new picture I posted, I'm really filling out to look like there's actually a baby in there! I still feel really good...no heartburn, sickness, or leg cramps at all. I'm sleeping pretty well (slightly difficult to transition to sleeping on my side instead of my stomach). I finally switched over to a few maternity tops and bottoms. They really are just more comfortable. I got a ton of maternity clothes from Sarah and some bottoms from my sister as well. That has made the transition easy. I bought a couple of new items this weekend from Target as well.
Baby girl is really moving around (mostly during evening hours). James has also been able to feel her kicking. Sometimes it is so strong we can see the bulge of my tummy as she kicks!
My #1 goal for this weekend was to get most of the stuff moved out of our office upstairs so we can start transforming it into a nursery. My inspiration for the nursery is going to be the crib set that I bought on ebay. I haven't received it yet, but once I get it I'm going to find neutral paint colors that will match it.
Here's some decals I would like for the wall after painting:
I am doing some research about what I have to put on my baby registry. Wow...overwhelming to say the least. I asked my sister to come along with me to register at Target since she has some experience with babies and what they (and I) will need! We will have to do that sometime in the upcoming weekends. I will also register at Amazon.com, since I am absolutely addicted to that site and have found a lot of things I want on there!
As for narrowing down the list of names. I have found about 25 names that I (kind of) like....not any that I really LOVE. So without showing James my list, I asked him to make a list of names he likes and I can only hope that maybe we will have a name that we both like. We have been laughing a lot with friends about how there are so many things to consider when choosing a name, especially the initials that she'll have. For instance, we likely don't want a name to start with F or P because her initials would then be F. U. or P. U. Also a name that would start with H would make H. Unger...get it? Hunger :() We don't want a name that is extremely popular, or a name that is hard to pronounce or spell either. Some names that I like would be extremely cute as a child, however wouldn't fit her well as an adult. Oh gosh...
It's nice to share this with you all...have a great week!
