Baby Movements!

So after all of the movements I've been feeling the last couple days, I am finally convinced that it is the baby moving.  Last night and this morning especially, the baby has been feeling like a little kickboxer!

I had a great weekend with lots more thoughts on the baby nursery...

My parents have a rocking chair I can incorporate into the room!

We stopped by Stork's 1st Stop to look at some cribs.  We have been debating if we need one with a dropside.  I've heard they are nice to have, however the man working was very helpful and told us that he only recommends the dropside cribs for people under 5 foot 2 and with back problems.  He said his wife is 5'1" and she has no problem with their crib without the dropside.

I will probably paint the walls of the nursery, but I won't decide on a color until I find out if we are having a boy or girl.  Either way, I want to make it a gender neutral color, but still might be inspired by the gender.

I also have started cleaning out the closet in the nursery.  It has been a storage space for all sorts of random stuff over the last few years.  I bought some under-the-bed storage containers to hold some of the items.  I will also have to clear off two of the three bookcases that are in the office and somehow incorporate them into our living room.  The nursery room is just too small for three large bookcases and the crib and the rocking chair and whatever else we decide to put into the room.

Well those are my thoughts for now.

Unless anything new happens, you might not hear from me again until March 2nd when we have our 20 week ultrasound.  Hopefully then we will have some news about the gender of the baby!  So check back then for sure!

Have a great week!

Quick Post

So I already chose to change back to the old way to display my pictures.  So enjoy the update of my GROWING belly.  I've accepted the fact that I'm going to be HUGE when I'm done...so there.

Anyway, we ended up going out to 5th Avenue Grille at the Radisson Hotel in St. Cloud for our Valentine's Day dinner on Saturday night.  Very good fillet mignon and shrimp scampi that we enjoyed!  Didn't love the "hotel lobby" atmosphere, but that was minor.  We spent the remainder of our evening watching a scary movie called "Jennifer's Body"....haha, how convenient!  It was actually pretty good, if you like gory movies!

So back to work today...better get going.

Hopefully I will have an update for you when I feel the baby move.  I'm starting to think I feel it, but I'm going to wait until it feels stronger before I confirm that it's not just gas!

Have a great week!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Well I know Valentine's Day is not until tomorrow, but we are choosing to celebrate tonight!  James is taking me out to dinner, but hasn't said where yet.  Reservations are for 6:00 pm, so we will be leaving here very soon.  I also just took my 4 month picture and posted it on here.  I updated the way they are displayed...now the pictures display in a slideshow.  Let me know what you think!

I can no longer close my black pants, so I am wearing my belly band for the first time and it works out great!  I love it!  Thanks again Sarah!  I will be 18 weeks on Monday, so only about two more weeks before we find out the baby's sex.  I have absolutely NO intuition as to whether it is a boy or a girl.  I have had a couple dreams about the baby, but one time it was a boy and one time it was a girl.

Okay, James is telling me it's time to leave for dinner now.

Happy Valentine's Day!!

16 Week Dr Appt

This post will be short and sweet, as was my 16 week doctor's appointment I had on Monday.  Heartrate measured again around 160.  All is still good!  I didn't have my list of questions like usual, so I was in and out in about 5 minutes!

Now I'm just waiting to rid myself of this cold completely, but I'd say there is already about a 70% improvement from how I felt yesterday when I left work early.  My nose is just a crusty mess from being blown so much.  James woke up with a sore throat this morning...hopefully I didn't pass on the fun to him :(

Alright...going to finish getting ready for work now.

Have a great day!
